Between July 15-19, 2023 the Civic Compass team was part of the World Science Congress IPSA Policy together with our Civic House member organizations.
We joined the World Congress of Political Science leading the panel How to Face the Challenges of Shrinking Public Space?"️ and presenting three investigations (papers) as part of other panels on democracy, participation citizenship, digital political campaigns and the role of civil society.
In addition, we were very proud to welcome Callum Cant, with whom we presented a joint investigation.
Callum is a labor regulation specialist at Oxford Internet Institute, who in addition to participating in the Congress was a speaker at the session "Algorithms, Ethics and Innovation in the World of Work" organized by Workertech Argentina, a project of BID LAB run by Civic House.
Lastly, Change.org, Wingu and Open Data Charter , members of Civic House, participated with their own discussion spaces on data, citizen platforms and technological innovation in IPSA.
